I am in search for the name of the actor who is on the Ford Commercial, Cash For Clunkers. My mother says he reminds her of Jim Varney, but we all know it not him. But maybe this guy is related to him??

I don't know if this is who you're thinking about, but the one guy I know in those commercials is Mike Rowe... also on Dirty Jobs on The Discovery Channel. He started on QVC as a show host and is trained in opera, performing for quite a while in Boston if I'm not mistaken.

It's definitely Mike Rowe. He does lots of Ford ads, Dirty Jobs, and is the narrator of Deadliest Catch. His chin does look vaguely like Jim Varney's, too.
